Our large Commercial and Industrial customers can now enjoy the benefits of smarter, faster and easier transactions.
Our new billing system is live for our large Commercial and Industrial customers using more than 750MWh of electricity per year.
This means that, as a customer of Jacana Energy, you now have access to:
A smarter invoice
Your new invoice will be easier to read and understand with clear sections showing your usage, your transactions and amounts due. You will also have more visibility of your usage and access to detailed information to help manage your electricity consumption and costs.

Simplified account details
You will have a new account number to use in every interaction with us. This number will always remain the same for every invoice.
Fast and convenient electronic billing
You can now receive your invoices and correspondence via email. To opt for e-billing simply contact your Account Manager at email@example.com
More flexible payment options
We now offer five convenient ways to pay your invoice including unlimited EFT payments, BPAY, direct debit, cheque and in person at any Australia Post outlet. The Faster, Smarter, Easier brochure contains more information about our enhanced payment channels and what you need to do to ensure continuity of your invoice payments.
How is the system change rolled out to Jacana Energy customers?
As part of Phase one of the new billing system roll-out, our large Commercial and Industrial customers were transfered over to the new system in April 2017.
Phase two of the roll-out will be for our residential and small to medium business customers and will be conducted later in 2017.
When do I need to make changes to my payment method?
Payments to your new account number are required when you receive your first new-look invoice in early April. You will need to update your payment details to ensure continuity of your invoice payments.
If your invoice looks the same as usual, pay it in exactly the same way as you currently do.
If you have received your new-look invoice, use your new account number and new payment details to pay.
What will be different about my new invoice?
Your new-look invoice will be easier to read and understand with clearer sections showing your usage, your transactions and amounts due which will help you identify what matters at a glance. You will also be able to see your historical usage.
