NT Volunteer of the Year Awards 2018

21 January 2019

For the second year, Jacana Energy was proud to partner with Volunteering NT to sponsor the Northern Territory Volunteer of the Year Awards. Volunteers donate their time, energy and resources to help others in need. It takes a very special and outstanding person to do this which is why Jacana Energy is so proud to be part of an event that recognises their achievements.

The 2018 Volunteer of the Year Awards were held in both Alice Springs and Darwin, and Jacana Energy was proud to have representatives present the Jacana Energy Community Volunteer Organisation of the Year Award at both events.

The Central Australia Awards night was held on 7 November at the Double Tree Hilton in Alice Springs, where Jacana Energy executive David Walker had the honour of presenting the Jacana Energy Community Volunteer Organisation of the Year Award.  Congratulations to winners Alice Springs Volunteer Bushfire Brigade.

The Top End Awards night was held on 8 November at the Darwin Convention Centre, where Jacana Energy CEO David Brown, presented the Award to winners the Friends of the Botanic Gardens.

Jacana Energy would like to congratulate all of the nominees and winners of the awards. We extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the volunteers in the Northern Territory who donate their energy, time and resources to helping others.
