The authorised metering service provider, Power and Water Corporation, accesses your electricity meter once every three months to capture your actual meter read. This meter read helps us calculate your electricity usage for the quarter and bill you accordingly.
When meter readers cannot access your meter, they are not able to provide us your actual meter read. They will therefore estimate your usage based on your historical consumption and supply this read for us to bill you. Find out more about estimated reads and how to have your estimated bill reissued.
