Online & Over the phone
To pay by Visa or MasterCard online use our secured payment portal.You will need your 11 digit reference number.
Over the phone
To pay by Visa or MasterCard over the phone call 1800 522 262 and press option 2. If you have your 11 digit reference number, press option 1. If you do not have this number, press 2.
BPAY is a convenient way to pay your bill in seconds using your online or telephone banking service.
Use BPAY biller code 264465 and the Customer Reference Number located on your bill.

Direct debit is an easy way to keep on top of your bills.
With direct debit, you can choose to make regular payments at set dates or pay the exact amount of your bill every quarter. This can make it much easier to budget for your electricity and avoid bill shock.
You can sign up for direct debit in seconds by completing the Direct debit request online form. You can also cancel or temporarily interrupt your direct debit at any time, by completing the cancellation form.
How much should I pay towards my bill?
To determine the amount of your automatic payments, check the regular payments calculator. You can check how much your payments should be for weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly options based on your usage.
What happens if my payments don't match my bill?
If your payments are higher than your bill, the money you overpaid will remain on your account as a credit which you can use for future bills. You can also request a credit refund. If your payments don’t cover your full bill, we will bill you for the remaining amount.
What other options do I have to make automatic payments?
You can also set up regular BPAY payments through your bank. Use biller code 264465 and the Customer Reference Number on your bill.
Centrepay is a free and voluntary service to pay bills and expenses as regular deductions from your Centrelink payments. Visit servicesaustralia.gov.au/centrepay to find out more and add a new Centrepay deduction.
Cheque, Post Billpay & NTG deductions
Mail your cheque payable to Jacana Energy, to GPO Box 1785, Darwin NT 0801 with either your invoice, invoice number or account number.
You can pay your bill at any Australia Post outlet. They accept a variety of payment methods including cash and BasicsCard.
NTG payroll deductions
Northern Territory Government employees can arrange payroll deductions to pay their bills. If you are eligible, supply your Account Number to your payroll centre and advise the amount you would like deducted fortnightly.
