Who is eligible for Stay Connected?
Stay Connected is available to Jacana Energy’s residential customers who are experiencing temporary or long-term financial difficulty and having trouble paying their electricity bills. The Stay Connected program offers customers assistance and access to options appropriate to their situation.
How to join the Stay Connected program
Jacana Energy encourages customers facing financial difficulties to get in touch with us at the earliest opportunity to find out if you’re eligible for the Stay Connected program. You can either contact us directly or through a third party such as a financial counsellor or welfare agency.

You can also ask a support person to contact us, such as:
- a financial counsellor; or
- someone who helps manage your energy bills.
We need your permission to talk to your support person.
If you require the assistance of an interpreter, please call 131 450.
