The Jacana Energy sponsorship program is now open for Northern Territory not-for-profit organisations and community groups with two categories of sponsorship, minor and major.

Jacana Energy Chief Customer Officer, Jo Conway, said the sponsorships are a great opportunity for Jacana Energy to partner with Territorian groups who make a difference to Territorians every day.

“As the Territory’s largest electricity retailer, it is important for us to give back to the community. Our refreshed sponsorship program will provide funds to community groups and organisations to assist them to deliver benefits to Territorians,” Ms Conway said.

Jacana Energy live by five core values, Diversity, Innovation, Honesty, Teamwork and Well-being. These values guide our employees in their day-to-day work and enable us to deliver quality outcomes for customers. Jacana Energy is seeking applications that align with these values.

“We want to partner with organisations, community groups or clubs who share these same values. We are asking applicants to describe how their programs and initiatives align to these principles in their applications for sponsorship.”

The minor sponsorship category will support organisations seeking funding between $1000 and $10,000. The major sponsorship category will support organisations seeking funding between $10,000 and $40,000.

“The sponsorship process is competitive. Applications that are from Territory based organisations that deliver tangible benefits to the lives of Territorians are preferred. We are encouraging organisations to include as much information as possible in their applications. This will provide applicants with the best chance of being awarded a sponsorship,” Ms Conway said.
