We offer various electricity tariffs for both small to medium business customers and large commercial clients
You can think of tariffs as the amount you’re charged for the electricity you use. If your business consumes under 750MWh per annum, then The Northern Territory Government sets electricity prices that we pass on to you.
Business tariffs (regulated)
This tariff is applicable to all customers under our Customer Contract using less than 750MWh of electricity per year for premises used for non-residential purposes, including:
- Electricity used on vacant land zoned for commercial purposes
- Temporary supply (i.e. for building and construction purposes)
- Motels, hotels, serviced apartments and any form of temporary accommodation
- Shops, offices, warehouses and industrial / manufacturing plants
- Mining enterprises
- Farms
- Excluding Public Benevolent Institutions

This tariff provides assurance that you are charged the same rate any time, any day.
Conditions:
- This is the default tariff applied for new business accounts.
- The property connected to this tariff should be used for commercial purpose only.
- Power usage is billed monthly or quarterly.

This tariff is best suited if your power usage is mostly between 6pm and 6am, including weekends, as a cheaper kWh rate is applied between these times. A higher rate is applied to 'peak' times between 6am and 6pm.
Conditions:
- Customers can opt in at any time.
- This tariff applies for a minimum of 12 months.
- The connected property should be used for commercial purposes only.
- Power usage is billed monthly or quarterly.
- Applies to certain power meter models only. Any upgrade may incur additional fees.

Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) tariff

Public Benevolent Institution tariff
Commercial default tariffs (unregulated)
This tariff is applicable to customers using over 750MWh of electricity per year for premises used for non-residential purposes, including:

In addition to the prices and charges outlined below, the cost of getting electricity to premises through the network of poles and wires is passed on to customers' bills on behalf of the network provider. Electricity service charges
There are extra network fees associated with some electricity services. These charges are passed on from the network provider, Power and Water. We then add our admin fee.
